Hayvn is a social platform built around three ideas: you should know why you're seeing something, you should have control over what shows up, and conversations are better when people show up as themselves.
You control the algorithm
Instead of a black-box feed deciding what's "good for engagement," Hayvn lets you set simple sliders for categories like Sports, Animals, Business, Music, Politics, and more.
Your feed is based on what you actually want more of—not what keeps people upset or glued to the screen.
Real identity, cleaner conversations
On Hayvn, posting and commenting are tied to a real sign-in (like Apple or Google). That doesn't make everything formal, but it does remove most of the incentive for anonymous drive-by trolling.
People can disagree, joke, and debate—but they do it as themselves.
Whisper: comment without amplifying
On most platforms, any interaction—especially comments—tells the algorithm to boost a post. That's true even when the comment is criticizing or pushing back.
A Whisper on Hayvn is a public comment that doesn't feed engagement metrics. It doesn't amplify the post or train the feed to show more like it.
You can say what you think without accidentally rewarding the very content you're responding to.
Motions: a calmer vertical video experience
Motions are Hayvn's short vertical videos. You swipe through them one by one in a clean viewer, without comments covering the frame or a wall of unrelated noise around each clip.
It feels familiar, but the pace is different on purpose.
No hidden boosting or suppression
Hayvn doesn't secretly boost certain accounts or topics because they're good for "time on site." It also doesn't quietly bury posts for opaque reasons.
You choose what you want more of. The rest follows from that.
Where Hayvn fits
Hayvn isn't trying to replace every other platform. It's a quieter place for the people and topics you actually care about, without needing to fight the feed.
